A one thousand mile cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats in support of The British Heart Foundation accompanied by two guys who should know better, an ageing bike and a swarm of enthusiastic Scotish midges.
What a great effort from my follow Brits! How strange that you're now in Scotland and I'm down here in England. I'm sending you my lucky rabbits foot which my mum gave me 6 years ago when I started trying to win a grand-slam. Here's hoping it brings you more luck than its brought me so far!

Ach an ken....what sort of welcome are you expecting me bonnie lad... on the 12 day of lejoging my midge said to me....(in reverse order as they do)12 lejoggers bumming, 11 scot's a piping, 10 men a weeping, 9 scottish dancing, 8 saddles a sinking, 7 bums a pinging, 6 directions minging, 5 bloody more miles, 4 fat blethereers, 3 calling lasses, two bonnie lads and a "A haggis in a fat tumm...ie.
