A one thousand mile cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats in support of The British Heart Foundation accompanied by two guys who should know better, an ageing bike and a swarm of enthusiastic Scotish midges.

Thanks to Tamsin the Cornish Pixie for her company from Bristol to Bodmin. A local weather expert and pasty inspector in a nearby factory she warned us of hurricane winds and tropical storms heading our way on Sunday. What joy!
