A one thousand mile cycle ride from Lands End to John O'Groats in support of The British Heart Foundation accompanied by two guys who should know better, an ageing bike and a swarm of enthusiastic Scotish midges.
Wow! Twas but a week ago that 'ee were down 'ere on Dartmoor, dripping dry between hills. Since you sped off down Lime Street, the weather has improved but the hills remain.
